We receive many requests, but the private Houdini Estate rarely opens its gates to visitors. As a pre-selection, we ask your group for a $100 donation for an exclusive preview and send someone knowledgeable about the Houdini Estate and event planning to open up the property and explain its possibilities. Your $100 is donated entirely to an IRS-recognized charity, and you receive a $100 credit toward your rent. Bring comfortable shoes and reserve an hour for the showing.

Eight people can comfortably sleep in the house’s four bedrooms. 10% holiday surcharge during national holidays, Valentine’s Day, Easter, and Cinco de Mayo along with their related weekends.
You’re welcome to stay at The Houdini Estate® without booking an event. The minimum vacation rental is three days and two nights. Weeknights (Sunday through Thursday) are $1,500 per night; weekend nights (Friday and Saturday) are $2,500 per night. All short-term rentals including those with events are plus city tax if people stay overnight at the house. Eight people can comfortably sleep in the house’s four bedrooms.
Private photography or filming session at the property are available Sunday to Friday. If your desired private photo or filming session is on a Saturday, it can be booked only within 30 days of the desired date, not before. The minimum charge is $1,500 for Sunday to Friday and $2,000 for Saturdays, for one to three hours in the garden. Thereafter, the rate is $399 per hour. If you wish to shoot inside the house, there is an additional $500 charge. Up to 25 people are allowed at the photo session; more than 25 is priced as an event. There is access to two restrooms outside. Professional photography and filming have different payment parameters; please inquire.
A 10% reservation fee, with a $2,000 minimum, holds your desired dates. The first third of the remaining balance is due 30 days after paying the reservation fee; the second third is due 120 days before your arrival, and the last payment is due no later than 90 days prior to the rental. Credit cards, checks, wires, and cash are accepted. Weddings need 40% security deposit; other events require a 100% security deposit.
